Workforce Alliance for Growth in the Economy (WAGE)™ is a training program designed to ensure that the unemployed and under-employed have the job skills necessary to obtain employment and remain successful in the workplace. The program provides academic skills training which is needed for most entry-level jobs in the community and region. The WAGE program is state-certified through the Arkansas Department of Workforce Education. WAGE incentives:
The program promotes an alliance among local employer advisory councils, adult education centers, employment and training agencies, industrial development foundations, and county and city governments.
