Turn up the volume on your job skills! The Fort Smith Adult Education Center offers several choices to improve the skills many local employers are requesting. The Career Readiness Certificate is a great choice.

The Career Readiness Certificate, or CRC, is a new job skills program Arkansas Governor Beebe enacted in January of 2008. The CRC includes three certificates-Gold, Silver and Bronze. Each certificate program provides assessment and training in Reading for Information, Applied Math and Locating Information. All are high on the list of local employers. All of these programs are computerized so computer skills are learned also.

Go to the Fort Smith Adult Education Center and sign up today! The Adult Education Center’s CRC program works closely with the Arkansas Workforce Center (Employment Office) so job search is a helpful part of the process. One of the best parts of the CRC program is that Governor Beebe signs each certificate rewarded. That is a loud endorsement that can really turn up the volume on any resume!
